My Recommendations from 2019

2019 was another exciting year.

  1. First Man - The epic tale of the massive initiative required to land a human on the moon. I love the many first person scenes that put you in Armstrons shoes. Watch this with the sound turned to 11.
  2. The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley - The real story about the nineteen year old stanford drop out who confinced former secretary's of state, four star generals and VCs to invest in her company that never produced a working product. Anyone who's been part of a startup knows that optimism and reality have a wide grey area that separates them. Reality eventually wins.
  3. Godzilla: King of Monsters - Who's not entertained by monsters that are healed with nuclear explosions.

  1. Super Thinking - A great filler between other books. Hundreds of origins and applications of models used to think about the world.

I'm still jamming out to the funky electronic music. Boris Brejcha has been my goto jam recently. Earlier this year I was stuck on Opiuo and Gramatik.
